NEST RACING_INDOOR TRAINER

Overview

Nest Racing was a startup based in South Africa.

After Covid subsided, there was a large increase in the number of people utilizing home training systems.

I worked closely with my partner

to create a unique indoor trainer which was

both visually striking and cost effective

for Covid-pockets.

The project included logo/ packaging/ signage designs, product development, prototyping, manufacturing and user testing.

Approach

The Logo:

Fast + bold. We wanted consumers to know that this was a brand in a sport-related industry.

The Colours:

A black background with subtle highlights of a punchy orange make the overall aesthetic striking and appealing. The orange was slightly muted to give a more "rugged" feel.

The Packaging:

Utilizing straight lines and blocked gradients emphasized the speed of the brand and product.
